Sweet sophia came in the studio this week with her parents Jen and Richard ( a wonderful couple whos wedding i photographed 4 years ago) The session was lovely and how nice to see them return with a lovely new baby. Along with them where the rest of the family with  more babys for me to photograph. wellcome to 2012… it has been a while since my last blog, thats because iv havent been back in work!  I say havent been back in work what i mean is im still working but not at work! I have been busy doing end of year accounts, making new contracts, sorting out, training, making new brouchers, seasonal offers and posters and so on. I have however made it to the studio when Rachel my assistant has had a new born session in. (these are my favorites) Lately I have been really excited about newborn shoots. Over half way there till our new arrival. I love babies.  There is nothing more beautiful than brand new life.  Honey you are such a sweetheart and your photos are amazing,  such a wonderful model. Harley it was so nice to meet you, you look so hansome in the hats. Ivy our session was perfect… i could have went on for hours and i think you would have let me. Thanks to all your mummys who brought you in for me to photograph i have enjoyed every one of you. x

So many people have come through my doors this christmas, either gifts for loved ones, for themselfs, or to mark a turning point in there life or someone elses. What ever the reason be I have had a wonderful busy lead up to christmas… with it only being days away i am so ready to relax and try and shake off this morning sickness with well deserved TLC time.  There is alot to share and each and every session was beautiful. A Hartlepool wedding photographer, comes the end of a busy wedding season.  Armed with my favorite cameras and lenses im ready for Kayleigh and Pauls Wedding.

I try not to complain, but is somewhat worn down. Pregnant. Emotional. Not feeling entirely myrself. (Yes, I said pregnant) Tired. Suffering from a bad tummy and feeling nauseous. Trying desperately to shake it all off, and get down to making  magic images that will be different from the last wedding, from any wedding.  I meet a cool and collected Paul first who is ready to see Kayleigh. I meet up with her and magic happens, moments stand still within each frame. She doesnt try to pose she just looks wonderful and so easy to photograph.  The both of them so happy, magic through  the day, wonderful christmas images, the both of them looked beautiful. Kayleigh and Paul’s beautiful wedding, was exactly what I needed to fuel me up, and inspire me to finish off this wedding season with a bang. There are not a lot of weddings  for me next year. My brothers is next in Febuary. I believe now, after Kayleigh and Pauls… I am ready to conquer the few of them i have before the birth of our second baby.  Here are a few of my favorites from your wedding congratulations and Merry Christmas. x

This lovely little bundle started off my photo session for the year and has came in again to steal the end of the show with these wonderful, beautiful, adorable photos. It’s doing photo shoot’s like these that make me inspired. Amy and Karl… what a precious little girl you have. The session couldn’t have been more amazing. I am grateful for such amazing returning clients. x

This weekend i opened my studio doors to the public to have there little ones photographed absolutly free.

One the morning of the shoot i was ready to go, its 10:45 and people where waiting to get in… perfect!

you all came along with your beautiful children and we all had a amazing time.

Today, and everyday I am grateful for many things, I am so grateful for my clients.  Every single one of you. I am grateful that you believed in me over 5 years  ago, and still do today.  I’m grateful you’ve grown with me, and brought my images into your homes time and time again. Thank you everyone.  My business hasn’t grown by itself.   I’ve worked so hard to get to where I am today, and with the continued support of my beautiful family and friends and clients, we are able to stay open.

I love all my wedding clients, we are coming close to the end of my 2011 weddings, they all turn out different… The intimacy, connection and shared moments of their wedding days often brings me to tears,  as I sit and edit their images, post them online, blog about them, print them… deliver them.   I am working, however I am also spending moments of my life with them and with that, I choose to do so as passionately, lovingly, creatively and honestly as possible.  I am fully aware that I am creating a cherished heirloom.  I am a wedding photographer, their chosen wedding photographer.

They could have chosen anyone, but they chose me.  That is divine intervention, in my opinion. That, is amazing!

My brides this year have been stunning, caring, kind wild and also daring.  Seeing their trust in me, their belief that we are doing something wonderful… is more than I could ever ask for.  If you trust me, we have far better chances of making your perfect wedding album.

The weather this weekend was perfect for us,  My Bride was amazing and kind, all her family behind her, supporting, loving  and waiting for this day for her to be come a Mrs Ward. Wayne as excited and ready, he looked a little nervous but with all his ushers behind him he was doing fine. They were both totally in love and ready to do anything to make a good photo. Being the second to last wedding of my 2011 season, I can’t help but think about all of the weddings that have come before this one. All of the couples, all of the images.  All of the love.

I am really greatful you choose me to become your wedding photographer. I hope your day was everything you wanted and more.  These are my impressions of a beautiful wedding. And lots of them…! xx

What amazing pic’s we got the other day, its October and here we are shooting in weather like this!  feeling inspired, balanced and excited to create. Emilie is a little natural and was very keen to get stuck right in there with posing!
The blog has been neglected a bit lately, Im yet to finish our wedding album! lots to do, new assistant, hopefully should calm down now.  fingers crossed we keep this sunshine.

You may recall the beautiful Nicola and handsome Mark from their wedding in 2009.  They arrived back in my studio last week with a wonderful pregnant belly.  Being a  mum already i still don’t really know the first thing about  growing a baby…. I don’t know how to make eyes, or hair, or more importantly vital organs, but apparently our bodies do… Women’s bodies just know, and a baby is created. This to me is  incredible, and absolutely beautiful.  Nick and mark came along with mum and dad to photography Nick’s bump.  Soon to become a new mum let me take this chance to Welcome you  to the world of motherhood,  there is a lot of struggle, there are emotions, there are countless physical challenges,  nervous breakdowns,  tears,  endless fears,  worries and an amazing amount of ‘firsts.  No words could ever discribe what it is to be a mum. you are going to love it Nick. xx

Sophia stole the show the other day with her amazing little poses,  something i have been after for a long time now.  Im one happy, happy photographer.  No more words just this beautiful little girl.

They are a reflection (hopefully a beautiful one)  of the people in them.   Their story, makes their images what they are.   These images are happy and fun,  because Kirsty and Mark are awesome.  She said to me when she came in for her pre-wedding shoot…. “I look at your Blog every day”  Well kirsty here is your very own Blog, with your very own amazing beautiful photos.  It was heavy rain on the morning, as soon as my bride stepped into her dress the sky was blue, i was a happy girl, a Wonderful bride, with a wonderful attitude on everything, a groom who was patiently waiting and beautiful blue sky’s . The two of them together ready for there wedding day,  they are just so effortless.  Sweet.  Honest.  All things you’d want to see when photographing a wedding. X
