Check out this little fella, he is a two year old talented little footballer. I went out for a session with Alex and his family this week and was so supprised at how good he actually was. His parents must be proud of this little two year old, full of amazing ambition. Keep playing your sport little dude and who knows where it might take you. xox

The best thing about doing pregnancy shoots is that  the babies follow!  Welcome to the studio, Ivy Rose and Poppy, Both parents came in for maternity photos with me, both ladies looking fab straight after having a baby…well done you two.

I loved the shoot it was lovely, we have to just take our time and slow down. this way you get to notice her feet, which will never be that small again.! Isnt life sweet.

So thrilled to have photographed Sam and Martins  breathtaking wedding. When you first meet Sam you just know your going to be alright, she is full of  fun, smiles, laughs and amazing times ahead.

Their wedding was extraordinary, the venue was lovely  and you know how the weather has been so  when Saturdays sky was blue with white fluffy clouds, i was a very happy photographer. I love that Sam  had so much faith in me and let me run wild with my wild ideas and creative craziness.  So happy to share some of the wonderful images we got from Saturdays wedding. x

Its our last trip away before we become a four! Pierce has grown so fast, i have to stop and pinch myself sometimes i cant believe this beautiful boy is mine! There are simple treasures everywhere! You just have to chose to see them. I love watching Pierce and his dad, beautiful moments, heartbreaking to watch the bond they have. So much of what he does is so much like his daddy. This weekend was fab for the three of us, simple treasure are the best kind! Love you so much Pierce x

Running in the rain..

The thing I love about a maternity session with a first time mummys is that everything is unknown.
You want to control things, but you can’t.  You want to know when the baby will come, what the baby will look like, whose eyes? lips? You are praying for a healthy baby, a good birth. Less than two weeks to go for my friend Hazel and Michael to become first time parents. Looking at them in the studio they are ready and waiting. Yummy mummy or what Hazel!! You really do look well being pregnant, enjoy the last two weeks of it… Oh and Happy Birthday xx

What can you expect when you’re expecting another member of an already wonderful family?
I can expect my family to be more than it was before.
I can expect my family to expand into a bigger beautiful family.
I can expect the connections shared within my family to branch out and become more beautiful than they already were.
I know there is someone special inside of me, but i dont know him/her yet… which makes the eventual meeting that much sweeter.
I love my family, growing another beautiful soul…

There are three books just finished in our baby book club. All sad to leave, but maybe return when siblings arrive!

I told Victoria and Gary…. “this book means so much more when he is older”

Time catches us all. Whether we are aware or not. Beauty is time, in the stillness of a story. Every thing has a story…. These three parents just so happen to have a recorded story of there  beautiful children’s first year.

May this bring back so many happy memory’s.

Yes i have been busy this month photographing all these cute babys. Sharing  all these moments and being a part of capturing this incredible phase of life, has become some of my most cherished moments in my job. Im so lucky to be able to photograph so many wonderful familys and see their amazing creation. Hope you like this newborn shoot as much as i do Natasha and Robbie. x

And leaving you with one of the most beautiful pictures…. infact a piece of art….

I love my home because of the people who i share it with..!  I love looking at all our photos around our home and being surrounded by happy memorys. Constant reminders of how beautiful life is.

There is one room which is left open with no photos displayed in it yet which is our babys new room, without knowing whether we are expecting a boy or girl i cant yet do anything. So i attacked our studio entrance room, decided one day “lets make this room just for babys”  the next hour i was printing photos out and planning where and how to display them. Pete got dragged in after work to put up shelf’s.  Gareth had the painting job and Vicky and me sat and put them up.  A frame doesn’t have to cost a lot of money to look fab on the wall. I spray paint frames, these ones i did pink and purple, along with the shelfs. Thanks for all the hep guys. So happy with my new baby room it looks awesome. x

Come on who said you cant buy happiness forgot about little puppys!

Anth and Emma you have the best wedding gift for each other…… beautiful, love, love LOVE them. Loved them that much they nearly didnt leave my studio. xoxox

I think first time Mummys everywhere can agree, the first few weeks of motherhood, are exhausting, confusing at times painful and a total blur.
You are desperately trying to figure out sleeping, and feeding, and burping and the day to day routines that will become your new everyday life. It is kind of a crazy time.

However, it is also one of the most beautiful as well.  As your child grows and the years march on, you will find yourself wrapped up  in sweet memories of these precious first few weeks.  You barely remember the chaos. You mostly remember the magic.
You watch these perfect little beings in complete awe and notice that you made something so perfect.
You kiss their little face a million times.
You experience a big love, for the first time. like no love every before
Thats how it was for me, and im sure its like that for all you new mummys too.

I am so greatful to be part of capturing your lovely little boys first photos.

Saturday the 11th of Febuary was the day my little brother got married. It was wonderful, the service, the venue, the Bride, Everything.

What better way to kick off my weddings for 2012 than to be photographing my little brothers wedding.  I have so many Favorite images from this wedding, it was lovely for me to be able to photograph his wedding, knowing exactly what they wanted, knowing them better than any other clients i have ever had… made my job So much easier.�
The images stood out  {to me} {to you}. Sometimes it’s hard to know exactly why an image speaks a little stronger than the others. For the most part, I have images that I love from the moment they appear in my camera, then later on in my computer screen.  In many of these photographs  its  all about  the sweetness, maybe the light, the colours, the feeling, their connections and passions. Or it could be the wind, the movement, the joy, anticipation or emotions… but it’s always about some breathtakingly beautiful…  moments. Frozen in time.

Anthony and Emma i had a wonderful day and by the look of you two i can see that you where all wrapped up in love and the enjoyment of your wedding day. I hope each time you see these photos a speacail memory comes back to you.  May you smile, and be as happy everyday as you where on your wedding day.  love  Big Sis xox

Henry you are such a little star.  I love getting to know your personality and watching it grow, this session i think has captured your cheeky side perfectly.

You are four months old, and thats gone fast….im soon to be going through all this myself again in less than four months, Cannot wait.!
