I just need to say something… My 2011 WEDDINGS ROCK!!!   I loved her from the first email.  Sweet, charismatic and outgoing. Awesome.
Jo and Craig are warm, fun, engaging and they just make you want to be around them,  not to mention both totally gorgeous.
You two make my job so easy!
Being together seven years has created an amazingly effortless connection between the two of them.  You take one look at them and instantly think….of course they are together.  They should be together.  They are so natural, so comfortable. A beautiful thing.  Your wedding was beautiful and looking at the photographs of it now i know it was perfect.  Have a great honeymoon, look after that lovely boy of your’s,  see you on our next appointment. xxx

What a perfect way to end my 2010 weddings.  for a lady who does’nt like her photo being taken she has really done a good job.!  I always love weddings at Wynyard Hall but this one was incredible. I instantly fell in love with Helen and her boundless spirit and ability to light up an entire room with her smile,  she is a little shy and lifts her shoulders up when she is unsure, she is an amazing person and she has married a wonderful man who will look after her forever. Brian i loved watching your face as  you  saw Helen at the end of the alter… true love and joy. Congratulations and a happy new year to you. xx

Meet jackie and matthew I instantly loved Jackie, Instantly.  She has the kind of smile and energy that makes you want to know her, want to be around her. Matthew is equally warm and you also want to know him. They are awesome. You’ll see.

They were married away in malta, a beautiful resort. It is dreamy. Rustic. Elegant. They came back to the Grand Hotel for the reception which is where i took over. Im in the process of making up a wedding book for my wedding couple.

At times, you are just full of inspiration. Other times, you need a little help.
For me, inspiration comes in many different forms.
An email, a conversation, The rain,  old books,  the wind,  the blue sky, A beautiful home, a look of compassion or love passing between two people….Two people named Neil and Nicola.  I was took away with their wedding day it was fab to say the least.! From the moment i walked into there beautiful home there was inspiration all around me.  Nicola looked stunning…. seriously stunning,  like she had stepped out of a magazing, her hair, which i need the name of your hairdresser! Her make up, Her dress her beautiful love for life! She had only waited 19 years for this day!!! What? And when it arrived it was perfect.  Her mum said “The love they have is the kind of love everyone wants” I agree, well said!  Take a journey with me, on Nicola and Neils amazing wedding. May you be as swept away in it, as I was.

Together, this wedding couple make wedding photography the most incredibly rewarding experience.  Real moments= real magic. Getting married is a beautiful reason to be happy… look at how happy Sam is.  They picked a great day to get married…. the weather was perfect, the sun hid behind the clouds when i needed it to… the rain came to make a perfect car shot and the sun came out at the best time. I was one very happy photographer. You family and friends where amazing, the venue is perfect and you two are made for each other.  I hope you make each others dreams come true. xx

A amazing idea… A photograph of both parents when they were married!

Yes this should have been posted a week back… Alot can happen in a week… a year and a half old baby boy getting over chicken pox, back to back weddings, squeezing in the last of the school holidays photo sessions and a trip to LA to find my wedding dress….Which was a success! happy now! just look at these images of a couple so clearly in love… its contagious. I mean, I photograph weddings. I see love.  All the time.  I see a lot of love pass between a bride and groom on their wedding day.  Not often, but at times you can see a bride be so caught up in the ‘wedding’ that they aren’t even paying attention to the reason they are getting married. I’ve never been married, never had a wedding. But I know love. I know what it feels like to be loved and in love. For that, I feel lucky.  There is nothing more inspiring on a wedding day than seeing a bride and groom so clearly into each other, that they barely notice you are there. I love that.

I have no idea what kind of bride I would ever be, but I do know what I’d hope to be like. Totally and completely into each other is a pretty good start!

So im over half way through my weddings for this year, always booking for the next and planning for my own.  The best thing for me is that i get to see everyone else’s weddings see all the insperation, see how beautiful they have it,  get practical advice from my clients, and awesome contacts.  Its a full on thing when you are planning a wedding… its like having another job.  Meet this my wedding couple and let the photographs tell the beautiful story. congratulations Kenny and Katherine. x

I entered Victoria’s home, what a calm bride if ever i seen one, i never thought i would use calm and bride in the same sentence.  Everything began to melt away. I was immediately submerged into a sea of exquisite details, beautiful energy, and was truly in awe of Victoria’s beauty.  She has waited nine full long years to hear the sound of wedding bells.  As she makes her way to the church to meet David her husband to be she has a melt down with her daddy, all is good and we continue down the isle. We venture to Ward Jackson park for some jaw dropping photographs… which i can not wait to start editing!  Back at the Grand everything in place, a happy bride and groom and a wonderful party ready to get started.  You should be proud of the day you put together. The party, the fun. I think everyone had a wonderful time, i know i did.  Enoy being Mr and Mrs Kidd. love and hugs x

Barbra and Alan, they are two kind of people who i could photograph over and over again… Pete my partener always ask’s how my day has gone… i could’nt stop talking about this one, all the awesome pics they were up for, all the amazing details, the big group of fun groomsmen, the orginized bridesmaids…And the very adorable two babys.  Thank you for having faith in my photography.  For inviting me into your worlds,   into the most intimate details of an extraordinary day.  Your wedding was straight out of a magazine.  Infused with all sorts of amazing.  Thank you for choosing me to be a part of it. My job is my be all and end all.  Completely… and it shows in my work,  i capture it with children, new born photo shoots, anyone who knows me knows this is my weak spot!  and weddings…ahhh Weddings.   One of which im going to be planning myself very soon. That day has arrived that my man asked me to marry him.  Since i was ten years old i wished for this day, i knew what i wanted and how it was going to be, What i should look like and what the venu should be, the colours the flowers the dress….. I just didnt have the man!  It was ten years ago that i found my groom. i knew that one day we would marry, its took its time but here we are with an engagment ring that’s just WOW!   We are already a family with our beautiful little boy Pierce, so this day next year is a day for us all… let our wedding planning begin.  And im told its going to go so fast, before i know it it’s going to be my day,  just like Saturday was Nicola and Shawn’s day… the planning was wonderful, you could just see how much time and effort she had put into her day for it to be every bit fabulous.  An amazing couple together, two big hearts,  two big smiles and lots of LOVE and  so great to photograph, all the family and friends there to celebrate.  They were relaxed and happy and so happy for me to apture the day as it happend
And that people, is how you do it!!!

My dad would say  “surround yourself with good people”.
I can’t say that I disagree.

We are so lucky to have such wonderful, kind, loving people in our lives.  We are truly surrounded with good people. Big hearts go a long way with us.  I’m all about the big hearts.

When i first met Leanne and Nick…. they reminded me about big hearts! The way they where with each other, the laughs, the smiles, the love… maybe thats how they won this amaxing prize!  These guys are the lucky two who won a fantastic wedding package from Hartlepool radio.  Photography from myself was one.  They receivd the full shabang!! from hair, make up, cars, dress, flowers, rings, venue, hen doo and stag doo….. THE LOT!

The photographs are amzing and the day was magic. just love the pics in the park… well done Leanne, start as you mean to go on.

This weekends wedding was Beautiful, welcome Amy and Darren… both a little shy… both didnt want there photos taken, both amazing,  A beautiful day,  stunning bride, gorgeous guests, loving family members… a perfect way to spend my Saturday.

Warm, inviting, and full of love. This day, was perfect.
