Nick and Dawn.

I have a ton of images and posts lined up, but will start with this gorgeous little family Nicholas and Dawn along with Lewis. They celebrate their love with a beautiful ceremony at Crab and Manor hotel Thirsk.
I love photographing here it is just like a fairytail wedding always, i love seeing new faces and seeing a mother and fathers love spilling out with emotion for their little creations. Its a magical thing. I arrived here a little bit late and i was a little bit stressed, there had been an crash on the A19 and had held me and the bridal party up from getting to the venue… i felt alot better when i arrived and seen that Nick was as cool as a cucumber! Dawn was in very little time to get ready but still found time to get her bridal party ready first…well done you.! The sunshine was out at every right moment and my bride and groom looked every bit in love… perfect!
Stay tuned for more wedding blogs and more studio sessions.

Mr and Mrs Kidd.

I entered Victoria’s home, what a calm bride if ever i seen one, i never thought i would use calm and bride in the same sentence. Everything began to melt away. I was immediately submerged into a sea of exquisite details, beautiful energy, and was truly in awe of Victoria’s beauty. She has waited nine full long years to hear the sound of wedding bells. As she makes her way to the church to meet David her husband to be she has a melt down with her daddy, all is good and we continue down the isle. We venture to Ward Jackson park for some jaw dropping photographs… which i can not wait to start editing! Back at the Grand everything in place, a happy bride and groom and a wonderful party ready to get started. You should be proud of the day you put together. The party, the fun. I think everyone had a wonderful time, i know i did. Enoy being Mr and Mrs Kidd. love and hugs x

All pink and pretty
My job is my be all and end all. Completely… and it shows in my work, i capture it with children, new born photo shoots, anyone who knows me knows this is my weak spot! and weddings…ahhh Weddings. One of which im going to be planning myself very soon. That day has arrived that my man asked me to marry him. Since i was ten years old i wished for this day, i knew what i wanted and how it was going to be, What i should look like and what the venu should be, the colours the flowers the dress….. I just didnt have the man! It was ten years ago that i found my groom. i knew that one day we would marry, its took its time but here we are with an engagment ring that’s just WOW! We are already a family with our beautiful little boy Pierce, so this day next year is a day for us all… let our wedding planning begin. And im told its going to go so fast, before i know it it’s going to be my day, just like Saturday was Nicola and Shawn’s day… the planning was wonderful, you could just see how much time and effort she had put into her day for it to be every bit fabulous. An amazing couple together, two big hearts, two big smiles and lots of LOVE and so great to photograph, all the family and friends there to celebrate. They were relaxed and happy and so happy for me to apture the day as it happend
And that people, is how you do it!!!

on a tight leach….! Radio winners
My dad would say “surround yourself with good people”.
I can’t say that I disagree.
We are so lucky to have such wonderful, kind, loving people in our lives. We are truly surrounded with good people. Big hearts go a long way with us. I’m all about the big hearts.
When i first met Leanne and Nick…. they reminded me about big hearts! The way they where with each other, the laughs, the smiles, the love… maybe thats how they won this amaxing prize! These guys are the lucky two who won a fantastic wedding package from Hartlepool radio. Photography from myself was one. They receivd the full shabang!! from hair, make up, cars, dress, flowers, rings, venue, hen doo and stag doo….. THE LOT!
The photographs are amzing and the day was magic. just love the pics in the park… well done Leanne, start as you mean to go on.

Best of weddings…

A fellow photographer emailed me yesterday to ask me a few questions about my business, my clients and how I go about my everyday bookings, and essentially how I got to be where I am today. Answering her, I was struck by how much my business has grown and flourished in the past three years. Humbled, and as always grateful. One of the questions she asked was…
When do you feel most successful as a photographer?
My instant reaction and immediate response was “When my clients see their images, and cry.” Thats how I measure success. Honestly. I love nothing more, than when those who have chosen me to capture their treasured memories for them, are speechless, are happy, are thrilled. That means more to me than anything. So in thinking about it, I realized I may need to share with you some of the heartbreakingly beautiful images from a few of my wedding clients. I am so honored they chose me to photograph their weddings, and so terribly happy that they love their time with me, and their images. Enjoy.

katie and Andrew
A Happy wedding photographer, nears the end of a busy wedding season. Armed with her favorite cameras, lenses she heads off to see Andrew and Katie, look at these images, and know, that these two are wonderful. Such a beautiful bride… She tries not to complain, but is somewhat worn down. Pregnant. Emotional. Not feeling entirely herself. (Yes, I said pregnant) Tired. Suffering from a bad tummy and feeling nauseous. Trying desperately to shake it all off. And to top it all its with twins! And looking every bit amazing. Every one of my brides looks stunning on there wedding day but a beautiful glowing Katie gives all my brides a run for there money. I just have to say well done Katie for keeping it together…. I know the twins where a little naughty. What a wonderful crew of people and what a beautiful place to have all of the people you love celebrate your wedding. I wish you all the best and cant wait to see these two adorable little bunddels. Much love XX

Blame the twins………

Never mind the rain…… look at what amazing photos you get from it.

This is my favorite pic of them both… I think i have caught Andrew just right here…. Cant tell you what he said though….!

Aww Jasmin…… dont be like that….!

I love this, What a wonderful idea to entertain your guest. If you dont know me then its a drawing of me….. And it looks like me to! x
Enjoy the lakes and i will see you three soon. x

Natalie and Adam.
Well it was a bit of a bad start of the day for me….Every photographers nightmere, As i walked from my car this friday morning to Natalies hair salon, as soon as I took my camera from my bag it steams up… I waited…. and waited! Nothing! What was i going to do? Normally it would only take a few minutes for it to get back to temp, this had been 40 minutes. I called in my wonderful assistant to bring along another back up! Pedal to the metal flat out she came with my camera! By the time Claire got here my camera wa sworking perfectly! Typical!
On to there wedding, Finally it is beginning to feel like Autum. This past Friday turned out to be a beautiful day, with gorgeous people, adorably little children and a bride and groom who are perfect. I was certainly not disappointed. A perfect day, for an amazing couple… Meet Adam and Natalie and all of those who love them!!!
