I remember faces… I see that many of them,  its always great when i see returning clients and there babies and how they have come on and grown.  I can remember when i was in my nine months of pregnancy and still shooting studio sessions, then it stopped for a few months while i took on a new role in life of being a mummy.  I cant say what changed, it just did.  everything is different.  I was no longer only me.  I am me plus Pierce. Granted Pete is a part of that we as well, but its something extraordinary to become more than just you.  This week i smiled again at returning clients with new members of their familys. I cant beleive three years ago i photographed a bunch of them, I sat for a moment and was so happy that they had returned, you aways want them to but how many do? Im one of the lucky one’s who can say most of my work comes from recomendations and returning clients.  Three years ago seems like a second ago, and a hundred years ago.

Im going to start the photos off with Emma and her wonderful litle family.  here i  bring you  my retrning clients and a  favorite pic from each session. emma came in to the studio 3 years ago for photos and returned this summer for more. what a great shoot and so many lush photos.

This little one is here  bursting with love, laughter and joy. i couldnt pick just one of  leannes beautiful little girl ellisia so here are three.!.. Beautiful.

Julie and her family came to see me a few year back… they dont live around here any more , they had been to other photographers around there area but julie said it just wasnt the same, so when visiting up in hartlepool one more time why not book in with her old photographer…ME! thank you so much for coming back in to see me. how your children have grown…. this pic is of julie trying to have a peaceful moment with her book while her children fight around her… i love it. x

Carol has came to see me every year for the past three to make up xmas callendars. now should be the time if you are thinking about doing your calendar shoots, bring along all of your props just like carol and her family then we can go through them all and put them into each month.

Claire and her most amazing little ones, This is the month for fabulous families. again i couldnt choose just one so i needed to give you two.! claire  your children are angels so nice to see you guys come back. and nice to meet your nw addition ewan. maybe see you again with another new one!! xx

Yvette was one of my most beautiful and stunning brides a few year back when she married paul hutton, they recently came back to see me as they were leaving to live abroard as they both have new jobs. hope whn they want the next set of pics doing they send me a ticket!! sending lots of hugs to you in your new home. x

Just a quick note to inform people that the raffle has been re-judged and our new winner is Emma Watson. Emma has now been in and choose her free photos…. a fantastic collection of 24, she will take them all away in prints and on cd to re-print any other orders her family members might want.

Well i never expected that…..! if you came along to our baby fair you would have seen for youself  just how busy it was.  It was full of all you fab exhibitors showing the public just what we can do and how good we can do it.  If you came alng to see our exhibitors and you had a mini photosession then here is a sneek preview of how it went.   The raffle winners detils are in the studio so come along and see who has won, a big congratulations you have just won yourself  £400 worth of beautiful photographs. Well, I’ve come out of hiding… or partially. I am still enjoying some “me” (and Pierce) time. Going for walks, days out with my fellas (Peter and Pierce) and just really getting myself all back together in preparation for another “busy” season. Which begins in Febuary this year.

Hope you all had a wonderful christmas and new year. we will be open again on the 11th and its going to be Claire shooting while i take the rest of my maternity time off….!  I will be back the begining of febuary.

My answering machine says I’m booked up for a full month… What that actually means is, I’m shooting between 3-5 shoots per day. What that actually means is… I’m busy. Very busy…but who isn’t really!!! I am really enjoying photographing so many wonderful families, and fabulous people!  Here are a few more family/ baby/ children pregnancy images that have been keeping me busy in the studio. If anyone is wanting any studio sessions you really need to call us asap, You maybe have a birthday you would like me to photograph or a christening… weddings are really busy, we are currently booking up for 2011.   But  just think we  have Christmas coming soon!   We do have gift vouchers if you can’t get booked in!  Last year was great on gift vouchers and judging on the feedback we received  our clients where over the moon with there gifts, and managed to keep us busy in January. Maybe have a call into our studio to see what we can do for you.

But we got lots of big smiles and laughter from Charlie….. This is a bit sad as it has come to the end of our baby book sessions. What a great last shoot. What happend in August???   Beautiful people, perfect moments I’d like to share a few of my favorites. What  beautiful familys I have been shooting.  Wonderful pregnancy bellys, amazing engagments, sunny weddings, teenie little people so beautiful and warm. I have enjoyed every one of them…. Its to all these people why I love my job so much.

I had someone say to me the other day… ‘well you must have so much time off during the week, really you only work weddings on the weekends’… If only that were true.
On that note, I thought I’d share with you all what my weeks look like…

I shoot weddings Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Monday is my day off (which I always spend editing and answering emails), And feeling really bad on Pierce as this should be our day together!
Tuesday I shoot family sessions, baby book sessions, wedding viewings,

Wednesday is my day off, and I spend every minute with my beautifull little man, going to sign class, feeding group and making sure we have a great day together, My best day of the week.
Thursday I edit, answer emails, send out contracts and answer phone messages, do a few family shoots, Im working from nine till eight on a thursday….which takes me back to Friday… hey…. right back at weddings.   I love every moment of  it but I am a bit busy.

I feel I need to talk to you a little about our Baby book sessions.   We start  you off  by doing your maternity photos…. ( one of my favorite sessions) Then we continue your book with a session every month to keep track of your little one and to make sure you dont forget a single thing.   These sessions can include your christening and your childs first birthday.  We  spread the sessions over a year.  Evey parent who return to the studio to view there finals of  their little munchkins help me create the layouts,  we design everything to meet your needs.  Each parent who return are overwhelmed with the end result.   This has to be one of the most rewarding parts of my job and one of the sadest.

Im going to introduce to you one of my little darlings who has been with me since she was four months, she is now three and a half going on twenty three!  It would be cruel of me not to share a Photo of each session with you.   Lydel… you are absolutely beautiful.
I love all of you reading my blog, and am so excited to have such a warm response from so many of you about my shoots/weddings and daily happenings. You are all wonderful!

I dont think I can ever forget what had happened during this next shoot, I had asked Lee to hold Lydel up close to his face…… She is a busty little nude by the way, So we are getting right into the shoot and she wee’s all over her dad….. the funny thing is that Lee actually said “If she wee’s mind Andrea im going to get you!”   Big Oops sorry Lee……!

I remember the first day I meet this angel, I was having a bad day, one of those days.  I was trying to pull myself around,  pull my boots up… when along came  Ashleigh Rose and it all melted away.  What a gorgeous little creation.  What a joy to photograph.  Every studio session we have had has been a one to remember. I cannot beleive a year has gone so fast.  I hope you enjoy a few of my favorite images of a spirited, wonderful child.  What a fabulous job I have.  Im going to miss this one for sure. X

I don’t know why I rarely post the very candid moments from weddings, especially as they are usually my favorites.  It is the photojournalist in me, that longs to just stay amidst the crowd and capture people as they truly are.   Sarah and Dom’s beautiful wedding, was exactly what I needed to fuel me up, and inspire me to finish off this wedding season with a bang.  There are not a lot of weddings left for me this year. In fact, there are only nine.  And they are scatted about up untill December.  But I believe now, after Sarah and Dom’s… I am ready to conquer the rest of them, with the same gusto, passion and spirit as if I were at the first one.  I had a wonderful day with you guys, Thank you for being an awesome couple.   Hope your days are forever filled with love.

Um… I’m not sure if  there are words for this level of cuteness!!!
I might be biased but my boy is off the charts.

Im sat at work and im so busy with weddings, I have 5 in the space of 7 days!  But I dont care just how busy I am nothing is going to stop me working on these pics this morning. Just editing them makes me miss him so much. What a happy little man I have,  lots of  love,  lots of smiles,  I have so much to be happy about. What an adorable shoot!  Let me know what you think!?!

I cant beleive this has come to an end. I have seen it all with little Sophia…. angel/ devil. She first came to my studio back in August 2007 and just take a look at how much she has grown.  Hope you bring her in to let me see her. Or just have another one!   Brace yourselves… this little girl may just melt your heart into a big mass of warm and fuzzy goo. Im going to miss you x

Here we go, well i couldn’t stop off work forever, could I? And I need to give Claire, my assistant, some time off from all the hard work she has been doing, well done and a big thank you for keeping care of Exposure for me.

An emotional day all round, Pierce had his first day at nursery, my first week without feeding him from myself and his first week in his very own bedroom!  Trying to get back into work without having Pierce by my side was hard.  There are many beautiful gifts in the world. They come in the most amazing packages, and at times, exactly when you need it.  My first photo session could only be with a beautiful new baby.  I’d like to introduce to you little Archie Matthew Hall. He has to be one of my favorites for sure. How many babies have I photographed?… A lot. Check out his little attitude already. Do I love it?…Absolutely. Who wouldn’t.  Kay actually had planned to work with me and look after the business when I was on maternity leave, only she sat in my seat and this is the result!  But what a great little bunddle of joy they now have.  So If your in my studio soon anyone, keep away from the Director chair! How it all started:

How did i end up with a website?

How did i end up with a business?

The answer is simple……If you can dream it you can do it!

I have been doing photography for 11 years now, started in college and worked on a cruise liner for a number of years. Not exactly what I had envisioned but completely worth every moment. Each contract would be 6-8 months long. It got to the point when I would return home I missed my family and mostly I wanted a family of my very own. I was unsatisfied with cruising and tired of the endless parties, warm weather, exotic beaches and late night cocktails on the decks of the ship! (crazy I know)

In 2007 Exposure Photography opened its doors, I have never looked back. Its hard to call it a job when you love what you do. I have pretty much photographed everything and anything, if I’m not photographing cheeky teeny tots and their amazing smiles, there are no words for their absolute cuteness, or capturing the magic of a family,  photographing beautiful bellies and the incredible miracles that they produce, or snapping away at  little puppy dogs with there big wet kissable noses. Witnessing the true love from a couple or spending an afternoon with a blushing bride and her new husband is all precious to me. So if anyone asks me if  I like me job, I simply say Yes I love and breath my job Iget that feeling when I sit down and know….really know… that im doing exactly what im supposed to be doing.          

In June 2008 myself, and my partner Peter’s, lives where going to change for ever. We found out we were having a baby. We found our happiness in the world and we were about to begin an amazing journey together. We had created the most beautiful baby belly. Our pregnancy went so fast it also went by the book. (lucky I know)  You cant explain it until you have done it for yourself so any mums reading this you know  exactly what I mean. No words fit, nothing describes your emotions, its beyond beautiful. The day you become a mum is the best day ever.

Pierce may only be 4 months old and YES he is the most photographed baby. He looks like his Daddy and poses like him to! What could be a more incredible life for me? I have no idea. This is bordering pretty good on perfection for me, not only do I get to capture the love in my photographs but I get to feel it to. A mums job reaps the benefits, you get paid in pure love. Creating adorable pictures of Pierce and seeing his fabulous personality already. Here we are watching Pierce Grow. Let me know what you think?
