You may recall the beautiful Nicola and handsome Mark from their wedding in 2009.  They arrived back in my studio last week with a wonderful pregnant belly.  Being a  mum already i still don’t really know the first thing about  growing a baby…. I don’t know how to make eyes, or hair, or more importantly vital organs, but apparently our bodies do… Women’s bodies just know, and a baby is created. This to me is  incredible, and absolutely beautiful.  Nick and mark came along with mum and dad to photography Nick’s bump.  Soon to become a new mum let me take this chance to Welcome you  to the world of motherhood,  there is a lot of struggle, there are emotions, there are countless physical challenges,  nervous breakdowns,  tears,  endless fears,  worries and an amazing amount of ‘firsts.  No words could ever discribe what it is to be a mum. you are going to love it Nick. xx

Pregnancy is a very personal time. We all go through a pregnancy on our own. Yes, with help, support  from friends and partners etc, but really it all ends up with you and that baby growing inside you. Personal and special. I love that studio images can capture and celebrate the best part about a pregnancy without seeing any of the not so pretty parts.  Studio maternity images are extremely intimate, personal, beautiful and are full of endless possibilities.  Nick and shawn married a year and a half ago and now returning for the start of there new adventure with our baby book club. Sitting quietly, doing nothing, spring comes, and the grass grows by itself.

As Steph enters her last few weeks of  pregnancy, besides being outrageously emotional, she cant stop thinking about her little bundle who very soon she will meet.

How fast can nine months pass. I hope when you look at these pics you smile everytime. All the best for your birth. I am anxiously awaiting news of your little bundle so call me when your ready for your new born pics x
