This weekend i opened my studio doors to the public to have there little ones photographed absolutly free.

One the morning of the shoot i was ready to go, its 10:45 and people where waiting to get in… perfect!

you all came along with your beautiful children and we all had a amazing time.

Do you think he is going to take after me..? each time he comes in the studio he picks up a camera!

I see so many familys every day in the studio. One lady last week asked me how should i take a nice photo of my child, i give her my advice and she came back to me and told me it was the best advice she had been given! wow thanks i thought to myself if i helped her maybe i could help you!  so here are  3 tips to help you along the way.

1. Get down on their level.  Towering above them is one viewpoint yes.  But getting down on their level, you begin to see them in a whole new light.  Lay on the floor.  Crouch, squat.

2. Connect with them. Let them forget that you have a camera in your hand (however have it on and in your hand). Don’t make a big deal out of ‘taking photos’. Make it fun. Sing songs, play games and connect first. Shoot next. Stop trying to make them stop what they are doing and smile. Do anything to get a laugh.  Saying “SMILE” or “CHEESE” may work for some, but my favorite photos are the real laughs and the ones that are truly in the moment.  Having a great expensive camera is awesome, but not if you can’t let everyone relax and have a good time and have fun taking photos of your life. Tickling, songs, counting… anything.

3. Keep your camera (your “good one” if you have one) somewhere that is easily accessible, with charged batteries and a memory card in it. You are FAR more likely to take photos if your camera isn’t tucked away in it’s safe little hiding spot. I keep a camera out all the time. I find it is easier when Pierce is being super adorable to just grab the camera and take a few photos.

My last ‘tip’ is to photograph it all. Document your lives. But PLEASE back up all of your photos onto hard drive or cds/dvds something!  No one wants to loose precious photos, and believe me… it can happen to anyone, at any time.

Im on doing my advertising and who else better to use other than my little baby book super star Oliver john Hoey.  He was born the 30th of September 2009 weighing 8lb 2oz.  He  has just jsut graduated from his baby book club with flying colours. Oliver has been a wonderful model since he has been with us. Location sessions have been amazing,  studio sessions have been fun and the family are left with sweet moments and quiet reminders of what makes there family so incredibly beautiful.
Thank you Simon and Claire for allowing me into your family’s intimate moments to capture a bit of what makes you guys, so special. Im going to miss your cheeky  little face young man!

So alot has happend since i wrote my last bio….  I think its time for a new one.

So, good… decision made, new bio. Ok great. Now what.  what should i write about me… what would you even want to know about me should be what im asking!  its not easy writing about yourself,  i remember sitting for hours when i first came to write my last bio!  where to start.??? Andrea Ayre soon to be Andrea Thubron. Andrea own bussiness for 5 years now. Andrea mum of Pierce Thubron. Andrea new extended home… too many rooms to clean! Andrea planning the wedding of her dreams. Andrea doing the job she has always wanted to do.

I’m not sure what might be interesting for a bio. But I do know me. Right now. Not that you asked but her you have it…..

I am a firm believer that anything is possible and that you have the ability to design and create your own life.
I have a bussines mind.
I brush my teeth in the shower, drink wine in the bath.
I like listening to my grandads storeys.
If you can dream it you can do it.
I love the sea.
I love to think that when I see a white feather  float in the air around me, it is my Dad paying me a little visit.

As a child, my favorite toy was a wooden dog.

I have three tattoos.

When I was pregnant  all i would want is apple juice.
Pierce is my little boy and my marvel.
Pierce’s daddy is my favorite man alive.
I have traveled all over the world, seen the leaning tower of pisa, stood inside the Sistine Chapel, ate lunch on top of  table top mountin, I’ve had coffee in Turkey, sat in massage chairs in Thailand with best friend vicky, and I once went tree top hopping in belise.
Ive swam in a cadge with a great white shark next to me.
I like fresh air, big skies and a room with a view.
Ive celebrated a new year under the statue of liberty.

I love to read chicken soup for the soul books.

How important is a photo…. Seeing that little boy, a newborn baby… a three month old… sitting up… yelling… laughing… waving. It’s not just a cute photograph, not to me. It’s what a love struck parent looks to after a long day, when their little baby is tucked away in bed for the night.   It’s what I do late at night,  either looking through his year book, looking at the pics we caught on our little digital or looking at my phone pics.  We look at photos of our little marvel all the time.  Life is busy, fast… at times you are getting through moments, sadly somewhat unconsciously.  A photograph causes you to pause. Put the noise on hold. Stop. Look. Feel.

It’s the end of 2010 for me, its christmas eve’e eve and im just about done, waiting for the last few clients to come and collect their orders. its been a busy year and i need to thank all of you, anyone reading now, YES YOU! for your support, encouragement… blog comments and emails. I am seriously grateful.

I’m officially on Holidays. Christmas Holidays. Starting NOW. Yes, I’ll blog and update a bit. But, most of all… I might not.!  I will be doing a Best of 2010, so stay tuned for that!

In 2011 I’ll be back, full of all sorts of wild ideas, inspiration and images. A girls got to charge her batteries and fuel her fire somehow.

Just a quick note to inform people that the raffle has been re-judged and our new winner is Emma Watson. Emma has now been in and choose her free photos…. a fantastic collection of 24, she will take them all away in prints and on cd to re-print any other orders her family members might want.

Well i never expected that…..! if you came along to our baby fair you would have seen for youself  just how busy it was.  It was full of all you fab exhibitors showing the public just what we can do and how good we can do it.  If you came alng to see our exhibitors and you had a mini photosession then here is a sneek preview of how it went.   The raffle winners detils are in the studio so come along and see who has won, a big congratulations you have just won yourself  £400 worth of beautiful photographs. You can’t possibly not fall in love with this one!  I photograph alot of people, We have been here on York Road for 4 years now, during my time I come across certin people who really stand out, people who make my heart melt, people who you know are just nice people.  Lyla is all of them.  In all my years of photograhing teeni people i have never had any one person  give me a photoshoot like Lyla did.

I think the best way to welcome this week is with a big dose of adorable!
Are you kidding me, with the cuteness!!!  How sweet is he?  Unreal!  I have had the very good pleasure of photographing this little prince/devil for the last two years now.
This little one is beautiful.  Here are few my personal favorites. Its always so sad saying godbye to my baby book clients.. hope you an come back and see me soon.  If anyone is interested in starting a baby book or know of  anyone who is pregnant drop me an email or call us and we can talk through our packages with you. We take beautiful photos of your gorgeous belly and then a perfect little baby a month later and so on till your babys first birthday.  More than ever, I  appreciate and realize the intense value in maternity photos.  I absolutly love mine,  and once Pierce was born and I had no longer a bump I loved the photos even more.  In capturing a glimpse of the beauty of growing a baby.  The magic in setting aside the struggles and challenges, and just simply appreciating the beauty of what is happening within the female body.  Not to mention,  allowing a woman going through so much,  to see herself in a different light… my lights.

Not this lot… check out the  Hartlepool Radio team. They came in this week to get some new pics for there website….. If i had to sum them up in one word i would say LOUD!!!

My answering machine says I’m booked up for a full month… What that actually means is, I’m shooting between 3-5 shoots per day. What that actually means is… I’m busy. Very busy…but who isn’t really!!! I am really enjoying photographing so many wonderful families, and fabulous people!  Here are a few more family/ baby/ children pregnancy images that have been keeping me busy in the studio. If anyone is wanting any studio sessions you really need to call us asap, You maybe have a birthday you would like me to photograph or a christening… weddings are really busy, we are currently booking up for 2011.   But  just think we  have Christmas coming soon!   We do have gift vouchers if you can’t get booked in!  Last year was great on gift vouchers and judging on the feedback we received  our clients where over the moon with there gifts, and managed to keep us busy in January. Maybe have a call into our studio to see what we can do for you.

Archie wasnt a happy bunny either and needed his big sister Ava to come in and play with him.

But we got lots of big smiles and laughter from Charlie….. This is a bit sad as it has come to the end of our baby book sessions. What a great last shoot. Before your wedding day begins, we need to have a few meetings to ensure we are on a understanding and draw up what we are going to be covering on the day…. also we need to do our fun pre-wedding photo shoot.  You will view through them and see what you like and dislike, this makes you confident that on the day you are getting exactly what you want.

A good wedding Photographer tells the story of your special day. This always starts with pictures of the bride getting ready at home. being a female team this always helps.  We dont do different packages or diferent coverage,  I dont undersatand how photographers can turn up to your wedding day half and hour before the service and leave afterwards and call themselfs a photographer…. ! What about the beginning of the story, the emotions, the excitment, the nerves, the beauty of the full day..?

We will take an unlimited number of images, as many as is appropriate to fully capture the coverage you require, using the latest digital professional photographic equipment and lenses.

We will preview your wedding photos in our studio, we work on a personal level and what could be more personal than viewing your wedding pics!  We can help give you direction , and with our experience can help you deceide what layouts work best with your photographs.  Normally  we would get in contact with yourself  in approxmetly 21-28 days after the wedding. This depends on wedding season. We will have all your photographs ready to view on a music slideshow along with layouts we have created to go into different albums, books and storybooks.  This is great for people who dont know what they are going for, and untill you view your photgraphs… how would you?  This is a fab way of seeing how your photographs could have the best potential.  Sit back and remember the day as it truely was…. we have plenty of tissues…!

Here at Exposure Photography, we fully understand that every wedding is unique, and it is our aim to create a wedding album for you that captures all the joy, emotion and events of the day, and an album that is as original and different as the day itself.

 Every wedding is unique,  there are so many variations of albums. Every Bride and Groom has different requirements,You might want an album that stays in line with the thyme of your wedding and stays in line with your colours, therefore we don’t do ‘packages’ but will discuss all the album options and coverage options available to you and agree costs with you once your requirement has been discussed and understood.

CD Containing all of the images taken at your wedding  (excluding blinks) 

Reprints are available at £10  for an 10×8 print mounted in a card folder.   All other sizes of reprints are sold mounted and framed and are priced according to the size and type of the framing options required.   For a full list come in to our studio.

Albums:   After you have viewed your wedding  photographs we will start putting album designs together for you… depending on the album depends on the cost!  This is an expense you pay for after the wedding.  Its simple  you pay for the album you choose.   And that could be from £100 up to £1000  remember we create your photographs, you choose the album and we design from there. We never print or send any album designs off untill your both completely happy with the end reslut.

Potentially thousands of pounds worth of images all for ….£300

Please use this price list as a guide, however, we are pleased to discuss with you any variations you may require regarding coverage or album type.

Terms & Conditions

A non refundable deposit of £200.00 is payable at the time of booking. The remaining balance is payable 14 days prior to the wedding. Any reprint orders must be paid for on placement of the order and any money for reprint orders from relatives or friends must be collected by the bridal couple. 

PREVIEW ALBUM 

Preview albums are not offered as all photography is done digitally. Your wedding images can be previewed in our studio at a time best to suit you. WE work on a late evening to accommodate all you 9-5 workers!

This remains the property of Exposure Photography and any unauthorized copying of photographs is strictly forbidden and illegal.

PRICES

All prices are subject to alteration, but will remain unchanged once a deposit has been received. No part of the finished order will be released by us until full payment of the whole amount owing has been made.
