So many people have come through my doors this christmas, either gifts for loved ones, for themselfs, or to mark a turning point in there life or someone elses. What ever the reason be I have had a wonderful busy lead up to christmas… with it only being days away i am so ready to relax and try and shake off this morning sickness with well deserved TLC time.  There is alot to share and each and every session was beautiful. This lovely little bundle started off my photo session for the year and has came in again to steal the end of the show with these wonderful, beautiful, adorable photos. It’s doing photo shoot’s like these that make me inspired. Amy and Karl… what a precious little girl you have. The session couldn’t have been more amazing. I am grateful for such amazing returning clients. x

Today, and everyday I am grateful for many things, I am so grateful for my clients.  Every single one of you. I am grateful that you believed in me over 5 years  ago, and still do today.  I’m grateful you’ve grown with me, and brought my images into your homes time and time again. Thank you everyone.  My business hasn’t grown by itself.   I’ve worked so hard to get to where I am today, and with the continued support of my beautiful family and friends and clients, we are able to stay open.

Its good to see my clients are still coming through the door, all amazing, feeling inspired, balanced and excited to create.

A quick photo shoot with his sweet little cousin Isabel.  There session was awesome, they had fun and the pics are fab. looking forward to more fun filled sessions. From Isabel being so shy she has really come out of her shell, I was taking direction from her, “do this one auntie Annie” ” take this pic auntie Annie”

Im on doing my advertising and who else better to use other than my little baby book super star Oliver john Hoey.  He was born the 30th of September 2009 weighing 8lb 2oz.  He  has just jsut graduated from his baby book club with flying colours. Oliver has been a wonderful model since he has been with us. Location sessions have been amazing,  studio sessions have been fun and the family are left with sweet moments and quiet reminders of what makes there family so incredibly beautiful.
Thank you Simon and Claire for allowing me into your family’s intimate moments to capture a bit of what makes you guys, so special. Im going to miss your cheeky  little face young man!

Its not the first time this family have been in to visit me, in fact its their fourth.!  I have had so many returning clients this year i have been that busy i havent had chance to post half of them!  So hideously behind on blogging, it’s barely even funny.  I have sooo many beautiful families that have recently been photographed.  In fact, I have so many beautiful families and weddings from the summer that haven’t even been blogged yet. How will I catch up?

Its been so cold outside, and the fire has been going, and my baby won’t be a baby for much longer. I just want to keep squeezing him and making him smile.  He is almost twenty one months…. wow has that gone fast or what?  Some times I think, “I need to blog…  and then, Pierce does something cute, and I think… “later” and I loose track of time.  Its easy  for this to happen and i only have Pierce.  Meet a client who has three little muchkins keeping them busy.  Sarah and Nick have been to our studio four times now, im lucky to have such wonderful clients. they brought me in a new member of their family Penri. Im totaly took away with how well the photo shoot went…. at just weeks old he was such a wonderful little model. The girls Ffion and Carys are natural little posers now, being their fourth time and all.  A family who come along each year to get their christmas calendars, a family who are lovely to work with and a family who know the importance of a family. xx

Im able to say that exposure photography is a busy little studio, and im able to say its all because of my clients, obviously. But when you have a four time returning client and that returning client just so happens to be from another contry!! i think she needs a blog of her own!  from living on cruise ships for some time i know how much i missed home! i missed my mum and family and all those little things, the smell of fresh cut grass…. yorkshire puddings, yummy! A big bath and soft water!  And your own bed. Sheena and her family miss all this too, just also happens that im on the list also!  Sheena’s beautiful family have visited me each time they are home and we send on the photos. Here is a very small taste of what her photo session went like. looking forward to our next time. x

Meet  Jude and her family… she was my first baby book client. wow.  And now here we are finishing her little boys photo book.  I feel like i have know jude for ever…four years in fact.  It says something when your beautiful daughter calles me Aunty Andy!!  I  would like to say a big  Thank you to you.!  Im so happy that you like what i do to keep coming back to me.  I have photographed your family so many times, its been a complete joy to work with you, I have loved every minute of it….especailly when I get big cuddles and kisses from your little ones.   Here is our session… its days like this that remind me why I love where I live!  And its for beautiful people like Jude and Stue that make me love what I do even more. X

If my sessions are for anyone then they are definatly made for this family!  They are highly spirited to say the very, very least.  Nathan has an inability to sit still.  Jess is alive. They are all full of life. The kids are  charismatic, moody, charming and irresistibly sweet.  This is the 3rd time i have photographed this family… evey session is fun, but this one was for you Gilian.  I hope you like your little preview and i hope your leg is better soon.! xx

Whats m little Pierce wearing…! His daddy wont be happy! it should be red and white. this is my brother,Anthony and his daughter Isabel, how beautiful.  Whats took me so long to get these images up on here…? maybe Pierce weraring a newcastle strip might have something to do with it!  Anyway things move so fast, messages coming in, voicemails, call backs, drawbacks, driving here, running there…. Life isn’t prone to slow motion.  Life doesn’t slow down,  unless you do. Unless I do.

There is nothing in the world, I would rather have as a profession than, spending my time, capturing love in photographs. Nothing.

You can’t possibly not fall hilariously in love with this wildly spirited, amazingly cute, arm waving,  cheeky little boy!   Imagination is one of the most spectacular gifts of childhood, and when you have grown ups around that encourage imagination and art and life and laughter… it clearly shines. Especially through the lens of a camera.
